The Online Estate Sale Method of Liquidation

There Are So Many Advantages of Our Online Estate Sale Method…

•Literally thousands of people will be able to see your collection of items for sale.  This number has grown extensively in the last few years with the number of visits to each online sale averaging between 12,000 and 30,000 views!

•Your online sale will span a duration of one to two weeks. You’ll have far more exposure to buyers than a traditional estate sale that typically runs from 1 to 3 days. And best of all, you’ll be able to click on your sale link and watch all the activity as it occurs!

•Preparation by us for your online sale takes just a few days at your home, depending on how much property you have for sale.   Once the photography and detail work associated with an online sale are completed at your home, the rest of the steps to building your online sale are done in our office.

•Keep the foot traffic in your home to a minimum, especially if your home is for sale or has already been sold.

•Keep vehicle traffic to a minimum, especially if parking or HOA regulations are an issue.

•Since online purchasers pickup from us by appointment, on one pickup day, we can keep a watchful eye on large or heavy items as they are moved by the buyer through your home.

•The average pickup day lasts 5-7 hours so the amount of time that buyers/shoppers will be at your home is kept to a minimum.

How Does it Work and How do I Get Started?

•It’s really a straightforward process and no money is due up front! Once you contact me and we’ve talked through your particular situation, I will visit with you at your home or business to assess your needs and determine the best way to sell your inventory. If an online sale is the best way to move forward, we’ll schedule a day for me to take detailed photographs of your items and note specific information such as dimensions and condition of the items. We want the online buyer to know exactly what they are getting and to have confidence in their purchase!

•Once the initial work is done at your location, I will research and determine fair market value of each item, edit photographs and build an online store link for your sale. Your sale will be advertised on all the major estate sale platforms where both traditional and other online liquidators advertise. (If you have specialty items, additional marketing to find those buyers will be determined as well). Your online store link will be live for about two weeks, and buyers will shop your sale and purchase online, so the payment is complete. When they purchase, they will know that on a scheduled date, usually the day after the sale ends, they will have to pick up their purchases by appointment from me, at your location, on that pre-determined pick up date.

•We coordinate the appointments and the traffic flow in and out of your home and neighborhood. For items that are not listed in your online store - usually items that fall under $15-$20 - these items will be seen and shopped by the buyers who come to pick up their online items. We’ve had great success with this model and customers really enjoy being able to purchase these additional items without being rushed. Once your sale is complete, you will be issued a check within days through Wells Fargo. For services such as estate sales, clean-outs, donations, or preparing your home for sale, we can assist you with those needs as well! Please contact us today to discuss how we can help you!
